Why we exist

Birdiebye was born from both love and loss. As the founder of a nonprofit parrot rescue, I’ve spent years comforting animals and people through some of their hardest moments. When we lost our own beloved animals, we searched for a way to honor them—something lasting, meaningful, and beautiful.

So we began creating custom granite memorials—etched with your photos, words, and memories. The goal? To help others say goodbye in a way that feels permanent, personal, and right.

What We Make – Clear, Credible, and Comforting

Every Birdiebye memorial starts with your photo—and the story behind it. We carefully edit each image by hand, removing the background and highlighting the details that make your loved one unmistakably them. From there, we transform your photo into a lasting tribute, etched onto sealed black granite that’s made to endure both time and the elements.

Before anything is engraved, a real person reviews your design and sends you a proof—because this isn’t just a product. It’s a memory. And we treat it like one.

The Rescue Connection

100% of the proceeds from Birdiebye go directly toward funding Birds & Beaks Rescue and Rehab—our nonprofit parrot rescue, located in Battle Creek, Michigan.
